Great short break in the Kinabatangan River.
神奇婆罗洲之旅的点评
点评：We enjoyed staying at Bilit Rainforest lodge and the associated River cruises, fitting in both the day and evening cruises- viewing wonderful sightings of many different monkeys and birds and of pigmy elephants , crocodiles, proboscis monkeys, and were lucky enough to see orangutans in the wild. We also enjoyed great food, smiling efficient staff, aircon and comfortable clean accommodation.
Our guide through out these days was Jafra Bin Abidin.
Jafra met us at the airport and always kept us informed of what was on the agenda for the day. He was friendly, kind and humorous. A good guide can make a trip- and Jafra was this guide- giving info us bite size chunks of info and able to supply more if questioned. He had an eagle eye for seeing wildlife and was able to communicate where it was for us to see. He also often checked that we had seen the animal/ bird.
Jafra also took us to Sepilok Orangutan and the Sunbear rehabilitation centre, and also to the Gomantong caves.
We also had friendly, skilful bus drivers and speed boat captains.
We had a wonderful time. Thank you all!
