A trip that shows New York, away from the major tourist attractions

点评：We found CityRover Walks (CRW) when searching for infos about the subway. We never been in New York, so we decided for a 6 hour private tour for two. We let decide CRW for a "what we should see" trip and met Patrick, our guide, at our hotel in MidTown 9:30 am on Friday the 13th, but that was not a bad omen at all!
He was a great and friendly guy and he showed us many places and did know a lot about all that places, like Meat District, the High Line and many more.
We had a coffee in a nice cafe, with the oldest cappuccino machine in New York, we visited Christopher Street and he told us about the Stonewall In and its history. About any spot we stopped at, and there have been a lot, he knew a story to tell. Overall that trip was entertaining and informative about history, architecture and also art at some spots. Finally he showed us, how to use the Subway, including how "tap to pay" works. That all said, the six hours were over far too quickly. We highly recommend this company, feel free to tell them what places you want to see, they open to make it possible.
What remains at the end is the not entirely serious question: are "our" Patrick and the Patrick on the CRT website the same person?
