点评:I have spent many summers & rest of the year in Carilo on and off over the last 30 years. I all of those instances I have played golf at its course even when there were only 9 holes as the life experience of been in the pine forest on your own or with other players enjoying the silence, the excellent quality air, the views and the obvious course difficulties is excellent.
Just a few years back the club was sold to a new owner that has dramatically changed many aspects in a positive way. Beginning with the manager, David Leguizamon, who has improved many areas:
the quality of the staff,
the works in the course,
the attention to detail in many areas of its maintenance,
the clubhouse,
the variety and quality of events held on its premises ranging from wine tasting,
arts and fashion that in the golf surroundings acquire another level of quality.
In addition, there is an expanded and new restaurant that replaced the old basic cafeteria (19th hole). Its name is Carpe Diem and I will elaborate on it in another review.
Its a great pleasure to see that a place that I cherish so much is improving significantly due to the new ownership and management.
