Couldn’t Have Been Better!

点评：We are repeat visitors to Field Farm, but have not been there for over 10 years. We were greeted warmly by the new innkeeper, Julianna, and could smell chocolate chip cookies baking in the oven. Much about the property has not changed at all, but the addition of a turntable in the living room with a good collection of jazz and classical albums was most welcome. Julianna informed us that we would be the only guests for our two night stay, which was unexpected but exciting. We thoroughly enjoyed the gourmet breakfasts, including egg in the hole with fresh vegetables, French toast, and blueberry (or banana) pancakes with sausages. Outstanding!! Julianna was attentive and friendly. She upgraded our room at no cost (and without us asking) to the larger East Room which has a majestic view of Mt. Greylock, a terrace, and a bathtub and shower. We enjoyed going to MassMOCA and then coming back to our “private” inn, and having some bourbon while sitting by the fire and listening to Ornette Coleman. The property has been lovingly and immaculately maintained. We will be back!!
