点评：I’ve just spent 10 days diving with Pelagic Divers Fuvamulah, and what an amazing experience, with the clear ‘A team’ on the island. I’ve dived with Tiger sharks in gin clear water, enjoyed deep and reef dives, seeing Silver Tip, Thresher, Hammerhead, Grey reef and White tip reef sharks as well. Also an amazing Oceanic Manta sighting on a Tiger dive, Manta at the Addu cleaning station, Turtles and all the usual reef dwellers.
From my first enquiry the experience was excellent. Ann put together a custom length trip for me, arranged great hotel accommodation with an ocean view, scooter hire, transfers etc. Communication from Ann in the lead up to the trip was first class, any questions were quickly answered. Thank you Ann, you’re a star.
Mode the Ops Manager met me at the airport, and took me to my hotel, arranging the pick up time for the following morning and adding me to the WhatsApp group used for comms.
A comprehensive Tiger Dive safety briefing was delivered the next morning by Hanto and diving began. The team are simply excellent, they know the dive sites inside out, they understand the Tigers behaviour so well, and know when to intervene or when to let things flow, this means the encounters are exceptional, and importantly, safe. I always felt entirely comfortable and safe on every dive. Every time the group surfaced from a dive everyone had beaming smiles.
The dive masters are expert at spotting things, leading all dives safely and ensuring everyone has a memorable experience. Gear is set up for you, tanks changed after dives, rinsed at the end of the day, and deep cleaned at the end of the trip. My thanks to Hanto, Rome, Imon, Hissan and Panda for the great dives.
We had an evening talk from Luca the PDF resident marine biologist, this was really educational, highlighting different Tiger behaviours you could then clearly identify on your subsequent dives, alongside the various studies completed and still underway. You’d often see Luca with her laser measuring device scanning, identifying and measuring sharks on the dives.
The entire team are first class and delivered a truly memorable trip. Inah can be very proud of his team and what he’s built up, I’ll certainly be a returning visitor.
