点评:The Church is located off off of Churchyard Street in the CEnter of the City. Strating off, the baptismal font located at the back of the church is listed as late 16th century. A large celtic cross at the back of the church is dedicated to over 1000 Galway people during WWI , some of whom were parishers. The pulpit commerates the last date of "wardens" in 1867 with half man half lion manticors above. The cancel is the oldest part of the church on the original site. The Appprentice column is rather interesting in that it is different then all others, done by an apprentice mason to produce a "master-piece" before he became a crafrtsman- quite interstiung piece of church/cathedral history. The slight entrance fee does go toward the maintenance costs of this 700 year old building.
