If I had known it was this bad I wouldn’t have played. €80 euros, I thought was reasonable with a trolly to play a course with Faldos name to it, but I felt like walking off the course.
Course is in shockingly bad condition. Winter fees extended but over priced for condition. Sunday pud league conditions come to mind. Staff should make guests aware of the course conditions before booking.
Dry fairways, like a new cut barley park with cut lines on all fairways. Warn out and not looked after. Tees are a disgrace. Greens are patchy with no point in putting with all the grit on the greens making the ball bobble all over. Pictures to follow of my putter and ball after trying to putt over the grit and patches.
Bad etiquette from workers while I was playing off the 8th tee, 3 of them watching speaking through my tee off. I waited 20 minutes on the middle of the fairway for another worker to move, but he continued to work around the bunkers. I ended up just hitting my ball. He could see me no problem but didn’t care to move from the front of the green.
No excuses really. Played Aphrodite Hills 3 days before, it was in a much better condition. Big let down, I wouldn’t let guest play while it’s like that.
Avoid until they put some effort into the condition of the course.
