点评:During our one-day package tour of the Shakotan Peninsula, the bus stopped for 20 minutes at this area.
All our travel companions (about twenty) used this time to have a coffee, use the bathrooms, visit the shops, etc. We instead dedicated ourselves to visiting the museum (built here because Yoichi is the birthplace of the first Japanese astronaut, who flew by NASA), and despite having limited time available we enjoyed it.
In fact, it's a praiseworthy illustration of the "space race", especially by the USA, and for those who are not already experts on the subject (like us) it was quite informative. We found particularly interesting the reproduction - with all the details - of the space shuttle "Kibo", and the replica, on a smaller scale, of the international space station.
A rewarding visit then!
