Best Experience in Bandera!
OUTLAW OUTFITTERS Horseback Adventures的点评
点评：I have been on several “trail rides” throughout the US and this was by far the best experience I’ve had! A lot of trail riding experiences feel like the horse is on autopilot, but Tawni and her herd actually let you ride. This experience is perfect for any skill level and Tawni is extremely knowledgeable about her horses and the local area. I felt perfectly safe and confident throughout the whole ride. By far the best experience in Bandera, and I would definitely do it again and bring my whole family!
Specifics:
- I did the “2 hour ride in the hills”, which was about a 4-5mile ride around Hill Country State Natural Area- about 10mins outside Bandera
- I was able to text and book a same-day reservation, and the process was extremely simple (no making user accounts for websites, etc)
- I went at the end of April and the day was overcast, but I still needed sunscreen and sunglasses
- You have a little saddle bag on your horse to carry your phone, keys, etc, but leave bigger items in your car
- there is almost no cell service at Hill Country State Natural Area, so plan accordingly
- I do have horseback riding experience, but my rides are very few and far between and most of my experience is trail riding— I felt very comfortable with the terrain and ride-experience needed, and do think it is a good experience for all skill levels—Tawni takes your experience into account when choosing your horse and where you ride in the pack
- Tawni was happy to tell us about the local area, but didn’t spend the entire 2 hours giving us a tour. I prefer this kind of experience, because I was able to enjoy the ride and the area.
- It is definitely worth a second booking. Not all trail rides would be worth a second ride, but this is definitely the kind of experience for a repeat customer!
