点评:While staying in the county we decided to do the 2 hour drive to the forest to go for a nice long walk. On arrival at the visitor centre signage told us that due to storm damage all but the green and purple walking routes were closed - which we didn't see on the website before leaving. Not knowing much about the routes we decided to pay for 3 hours car parking anyway, because even if the walking route was small, we could do it twice to make our day out worth while. It turns out that the purple route takes about 10-15 mins to walk. We did it 3 times and even sat at a bird watching hut to make sure we spent as much times as possible doing something after the length of the drive. We still only managed to spend about an hour there. It felt like a waste of a 4 hour round trip and the cost of parking.
I can't complain that the park had storm damage, that's unavoidable, I can be grumpy at the lack of signage or information. If practically all the routes are off-limit, then parking could have been free. Meh.

我不能抱怨公园遭受风暴破坏,这是不可避免的,我会因为缺乏标志或信息而感到不满。如果几乎所有路线都是禁止通行的,那么停车可能是免费的。嗯。
