点评：What a wonderful experience with these majestic creatures. Seeing the work the foundation do in rescuing these amazing animals and giving them a safe haven and forever home.
Our tour guide Seth was superb, excellent knowledge about the elephants, their history and the work the foundation do to be able to give these elephants a happy life. He also has a brilliant sense of humour.
The tour starts off with air conditioned transport. You arrive and are given complimentary team and coffee. You are then briefed on the reserve and its history, the work they do and the animals themselves. Seth also spoke about Asian elephants in general and conservation.
You then get to prepare food for the elephants before walking down to the feeding area. Feeding the elephants was a wonderful experience. They then let the elephants out and you walk with them for about an hour experiencing them in their natural surroundings.. feeding, splashing in the mud, scratching against the trees.. it’s breathtaking. After walking you get an opportunity to have photos and stroke the elephants.
Once the Mahoots walk the elephants away you are provided with lunch and a chance to relax before the trip back.
