Sleigh Me Next Time - Weather did not permit us to have the horse drawn sleigh because ice replaced snow with ice.

点评：Everything was perfect and the staff were excellent; however, the snow melted before our arrival because of an unusual 50 degree day with rain that froze. I attribute this unusual turn of events to the effect of global warming.
We took the ride in a horse drawn carriage instead of a sleigh.
this has been my problem in booking this type of trip for over a decade. Nestlenook came closer than anywhere else. I am willing to give it another try at a future time. this is a "bucklist" item for me. What we did experience was wonderful and memorable. I look forward to going back when there is snow. I need to see if there is a way to fly from LaGuardia to an airport closer to this part of New Hampshire. We flew from LaGuardia to Portland and were driven for 1 1/2 hours to the Cambria Hotel which was about a 20 minute ride by taxi to Nestlenook. The Cambria Hotel is new and beautifully furnishes and the staff were very welcoming. We had a great overnight stay.
