Good day out with children

点评：They have a great number of areas curious children could try different experiments, or simply muck around with the apparatus. Short guides about what each exhibit is about (and how it could be used) is visible in 4 languages, including English.
The basement has a wonderful collection (and working model) or miniature trains.
They do regular science shows (only in German).
The entrance is pricey (CHF 33 per adult, CHF 21 per child), parking isn't free and the cafeteria resembles an overheated, overcrowded sauna on Sunday afternoons.
The staff are friendly and willing to help (you need to ask).
All in all, best suited for children 8-17 years.
The gift shop is expensive too, though some of the stuff here you don't find anywhere else.
