点评：Definitely worth a visit even in the cold wind and pouring rain.
The palace itself is striking in its bold colours. The inside is fully furnished. Gorgeous ceilings. Mind altering views.
The only problem is that it is so very popular and tourists of all origins line up, and line up again. Not always pleasant in the cold and rain.
Notice that you do not have to purchase a guided tour, you can have access to palace and grounds on your own, but you must purchased a time slot and they’re quite strict about it as it is always packed. And you have to keep moving, not much time to admire anything in details as there are people in front of you and behind you waiting. It was Sunday which probably had a lot to do with the crowds but we did not have a choice.
Before the rain we had a lovely picnic in the park by a fountain.
