Sand Key Park的点评
点评：This park is a hidden gem in the Clearwater area. Parking costs are very reasonable. There are plenty of bathrooms which is always a priority. The water here is warm and beautiful. One highlight for us was seeing a number of dolphins leaping out of the water near sunset. It was a breathtaking sight.
One word of caution…several times while we were playing in the water, we discovered areas where the bottom just disappeared. We were in waist-deep water, then one step later, even my nearly 6ft tall teenage son could not reach the bottom. We all swim so this was not a problem for us, but if you have littles ones or if you are not a particularly strong swimmer, I suggest extra caution at this beach.
The seagulls had a very strong presence at this beach. They stole bites of my sandwich right out of my hand twice. The second time they appeared to be laughing at me. We definitely were not offering any food to those birds, but it is clear that others have.
I would love to return to this beach. It is one of my favorites in Florida.
