点评：This is a review of "The Grand Experience" at the winery. It includes a tour of the facility (about one hour) with history of the grounds, owners and approach to wine-making. It was interesting and the guide was engaged and fun. After that is the luncheon with wine pairings/tastings. This involved an amuse-bouche, two courses and desert. Each of these four steps included two wines for a total of tasting 8 wines. We then added another pairing in the tasting room that they included. The lunch took two hours. The food was incredible -- creative, tasty and beautifully presented. Each course had three choices and included vegetarian options that were fantastic. It was served in an area overlooking the vineyards and valley. We had perfect weather so the setting was magical.
This is an expensive lunch. But it is an experience that we consider a highlight of our time in Tuscany. We recommend it highly. Fine dining; great wines; beautiful surroundings. It is well worth the time and cost.
