A nice dose of nature, not mind-blowing
De Hoge Veluwe National Park的点评
点评：I will start this review by saying that I visited the park in October and the weather was poor, so we explored Hoge Veluwe by car, making limited use of foot and bicycle paths. As such, our experience was limited to areas on, or within strolling distance of, the park roads. The park can still be enjoyed this way, as the roads wind through dunes, forests and prairie, with sweeping views of heather, mature trees and some attractively landscaped areas. There are only a few main roads in the park and you can cover them all in half a day if you don't stop often.
I would recommend this park to anyone spending a fair amount of time in the Netherlands who needs a dose of nature. I would not recommend this park as a "must see" for visitors with limited time in the Netherlands, as the park itself is not as impressive as other Dutch historic and cultural sights. If you do visit the park, I would definitely recommend a visit to the Kröller-Müller Museum.
