Outstanding Trip with Top Dive
TOPDIVE Rangiroa的点评
点评：Visited as a family of 4 including two teens. We stayed at the Kia Ora and it was an easy 5 min walk down the beach so we never utilized the shuttle.
Excellent diving operation. Dive masters were experienced and skilled with thorough briefings. Top Dive was helpful to schedule our dives around the incoming current as we loved drifting the pass. However, other times when tides weren’t quite right dives were excellent.
This was our second trip with top dive in Rangiroa. After our first trip I was surprised to read reviews criticizing safety as that wasn’t our experience. I think a lot of the “safety” concerns are inexperienced divers taking what their PADI instructor in North America taught them as gospel. France (and thus French Polynesia) have a few different ways of doing things and recognizing French regulations prevail would go a long way.
Diving wise, our trip was outstanding. Dolphins, clownfish, hammerheads, and 26 eagle rays in a school plus everything else.
The Nitrox is a must - everything is relatively deep so it really makes for a much more enjoyable second dive with the extra bottom time.
Tip: bring everything you need. Miscellaneous items such as red filters, etc aren’t available anywhere on Rangiroa.
