点评：We finally got around to visiting this market & The Eatery after living here for over 3 years! The market is HUGE! They sell just about every type of condiment and much more...breads, cakes, brownies, meat, produce, eggs, beverages, etc. On our first trip we easily spent nearly $150! The crimson crisp apples and peach cider were tasty. The strawberries were a bit pricey, but better tasting than those at the grocery store. Their cinnamon rolls ($9) are AH-Mazing! We did find both the apple bread & peach breads to be a bit on the dry side and the peach bread didn't have much peach flavor at all...mostly just cinnamon. Their apple cider donuts are quite good, though didn't have enough sugar coating for our tastes. The candied pickle sticks ($7) were SO good we went back and bought 4 more jars! Though I'm not a fan of pungent mustard, my daughter loves the horseradish mustard. We also liked the strawberry salsa ($7). It seems everything is either made there or locally.
On our 2nd trip, we visited The Eatery. We were disappointed that there wasn't any indoor seating...although you can walk down to the covered seating area. The sandwich combos are $10 and include a sandwich, side & drink. We tried the BLT & the BBQ. Super good on both accounts! I'd definitely go back for that BLT!! The BBQ was tender, juicy, slightly smokey & perfectly shredded. Although the BLT was supposed to be toasted, it came with more like hot bread (no color). But it was large & amazingly delicious with nice meaty tomatoes, tasty bacon & the perfect amount of mayo. The milkshakes are ENORMOUS ($8). We had both peach and chocolate. Perfect consistency with swirls of either peach or chocolate sauce. I just wish they offered a smaller size!
This place can get crazy busy at certain times of the year, so we stock up in the quieter seasons.
