Disappointing quality of knowledge / advice

点评：We visited Tahiti in October and asked for things to see and do during our stay.
We were given a booklet and about to be sent out merry way - we had better guidance about what can be done in many tourism offices. We needed to ask about how to do specific tours and being recommended to read the booklet - instead of discussing about recommended service providers.
Another example: we were proposed to see the “blow hole” (le souffleur in French), and 3 waterfalls which were nearby (5mns by car, 1hr by walking).
What we discovered kater was that the access to the Blowhole and to 2 of the waterfalls were closed because of a weather event in January (yes, 9 months ago).
Overall, a disappointing experience. Fellow travelers, do your homework, look for the tours online.
