Two great days of adventures with a very professional company.
La Base Lamay的点评
点评：We found La Base Lamay through the web site of Nunu boutique hotel, also in Lamay. (We had a fabulous stay in the hotel)
We both hiked with Lamas & climbed through La Base Lamay and had a great meal at their cafe on the main square.
(Separately, we had an excellent and safe day's rafting with Munaycha, also found on the Nunu website)
All the guides were highly professional with lots of experience. All would be up to UK standards - the absolute opposite of some the local cheap and cheerful operators. For climbing they provided lots of new kit, with rock boots and helmets.
On the day trek for instance, our guide had first aid kit, radios to contact the driver and was highly knowledgeable. It is obvious from their interactions with the locals that they are involved in the high mountain community.
Overall, the professionalism was pretty reassuring as it is generally hard to tell what kind of operation you are dealing with from a website when you have no local knowledge.
All in, a charming and efficient team who offer great food at base, and fantastic adventures hosted by lovely guides. Bravo.
