Excellent spot for Walking and some R &R
丹戎海滩的点评
点评：After walking from the Capella Hotel to Port Siloso yesterday (see subsequent Reviews) my wife, myself and a friend decided this morning to go in the opposite direction to Tanjong Beach.
It was a little like chalk and cheese with far less hustle & bustle and far more tranquility. There are no shortage of lovely beaches (spoilt only by the relative closeness of an armada of cargo ships waiting to unload their respective goods - something that will change when the Port moves away from its central location) and relatively few people making use of the amenities.
My only disappointments were not seeing any wildlife - particularly the otters but an odd monkey would have been most welcome - and the fact Sentosa Cove blocked any chance we had of seeing some of the Sentosa Golf Course layout!
No matter, it was a most enjoyable walk (far more preferable than the Fort Siloso one) - certainly something I intend to repeat during the remainder of our stay.
