点评：We booked to visit on 24/12/24 as a family of 4 with a 3 year old and 1 Year old for the Christmas experience.
The centre is easy enough to find using a sat-nav, the driveway and car park is well sign posted with a generous car park.
The staff at the reception greeted us with smile, were very informative and friendly.
We received a passport for each child, there were 5 activities on the passport and upon arriving at each activity the passport was stamped to signify they were complete which is nice as a memento of the day.
The activities on the passport were;
Pantomime - a short 15 minute put together show that was ok and gets the kids involved.
Ginger breadman decoration - Each kid received a Ginger breadman biscuit, a cup with 2-3 jelly tots and there was bottles of white icing on the bench's. This had the potential to be a lot better and interactive for the children.
Sweetshop - There were 2 elves that interacted with the kids and asked what sweets they would like from a great choice and they each had a bag to enjoy on the walk around the park.
Reindeer dust making - Each kid got a small mesh back to make up there own reindeer dust bag from the 5 ingredients options available, there was an elves on this activity that was very interactive with the kids.
Meeting Santa - You must book a time slot for this when purchasing your tickets and are advised to be 10 minutes early - we choose 3 clock and waited in a que for 30 minutes before the kids got to see Santa which was frustrating but it was turned around by the performance Santa Claus. He interacted well with the kids, asked them questions and was nice to see. We had a family photo taken with Santa and received a gold coin for each kid to trade in at the toy shop.
When you have seen Santa and received your gold coin you can go to the toy shop and the kids can choose a toy in exchange for there coin, alternatively you can keep the decorative coin as a memento which we did. Within the toy shop there is also the option to purchase a copy of the photo with Santa which comes in a sleeve and is fairly priced.
There were other festive activities to do like decoration making, festive colouring in, letters to Santa, playing on the inflatable's and ride on animals which both kids loved!
The normal attractions of the park were also in use like the outdoor play area's however due to the time of the year it was to cold, wet and dirty to use. There is plenty animals for the kids to see and fed in doors and out.
We ate in the café on site however the food is severally overpriced and the portion size is small, even for a kids packed lunch it was £6 and they only get half a bread bun. Would recommend taking a packed lunch. Within the café there is a a few large play area's which the kids didn't use this time.
Overall for the money paid to attend the festive period was not worth it in our opinion and we wouldn't come again however we will return for the kids to play on the rest of attractions in better weather.
