点评：I've been coming to Edinburgh for years on a regular basis but have never heard of this prior to seeing it in Facebook last week. Headed straight there on a day visit. The introduction by the receptionist was lengthy, but nothing compared to each of the volunteers in every room. We visit many historic houses over the year and this was by far the most overbearing information overload we've ever encountered. Please allow us to enter the room and have a look round first before jumping on the visitor to give VERY detailed information. We ended up rushing round just to try and avoid another encounter. We appreciate the knowledge base but not the level of interaction. We'll come again, but will try to avoid any eye contact. Say hello, then back off. Crikey, it was intense. That said, what a wonderful house and furnishings. The introduction video was worth a watch.
