点评：Seeing the exterior of Buckingham Palace in person was one of those magical travel moments that felt even more special because we were celebrating our mum’s 75th birthday. She’s always dreamed of seeing the Changing of the Guard, and we were lucky enough to catch the ceremony—it was a proud, precise, and truly iconic sight. The marching band, the crisp uniforms, the regal energy of the palace itself—it felt like stepping into a postcard.
Afterward, we walked through the edge of St. James’s Park, and it was absolutely beautiful. The spring flowers were in full bloom, the light was golden, and we were able to take some truly gorgeous family photos with our mum—moments we’ll treasure forever. The park offers such a peaceful contrast to the formality of the palace and is full of color, charm, and classic London scenery.
We wish we had more time to explore the park fully, but we were on a tight schedule. Still, that brief stroll through its paths added a perfect softness to the more structured feel of the palace. If you're visiting, carve out some time to slow down here—it’s well worth it.
