Not a pleasant experience, and not one I would recommend

点评：My wife and I, and two long-time friends, all of us senior citizens, visited the Skytree and it was a ‘never again’ sort of experience. We had to queue for quite a while to get tickets, and then the first available slot was over an hour away. We went for something to eat, and then got into the queue for our time slot. Again, another long queue before you get absolutely squashed into one of the lifts. Already this isn’t a pleasant experience. Once we got out of the lift, we joined the throngs of people already up in the observation deck trying to get to one of the windows to view the city by night. Each time we moved from one position we then had to wait to get into another place to see another part of the city – not fun by any stretch of the imagination. The worst part of the experience was queueing for the lifts to get out of the place. This took forever, and gives you lots of time to reflect on what would happen in the event of a fire – it actually doesn’t bear think about. It took us over an hour to get on a lift from when we started queuing – so much pushing and shoving, and all too claustrophobic! Like I’ve stated, we would never want to do this again, and had we known what it was like we would have given it a miss – seriously not recommended, especially if you don’t like being squashed in for long periods of time with other humans.
