深圳博物馆的点评
点评：Shenzhen Museum is conveniently located next to the city center of Shenzhen. Nevertheless, during my visit, which is a Friday, there are less than 200 visitors in the museum.
Shenzhen Museum has the following exhibits: 1. The Exhibit of Wild Animals (pretty lame), 2. Shenzhen Folk culture exhibit (mainly fake model demonstrate the life of Shenzhen in the past), 3. Ancient Shenzhen Exhibit (showing archeological discover and Shenzhen before the Opium war in 1840), 4. Modern Shenzhen (after the Opium War, 1840-1949), 5. Shenzhen before Open Up (1949-1980), 6. Shenzhen after Open Up (1980-).
For the Shenzhen after Open Up, the museum has a good free tour that highlights various event of Shenzhen in the past 40 years. Though, unfortunately, many of the people involved in the event is not mentioned/discussed.
