Madison Bouckville Antique Week的点评
点评：I will start by saying we have attended many outdoor antique shows over the years and it is something we often enjoy very much.
We visited on the first two days of the antique week show, Monday and Tuesday. There are 100’s of vintage and antique dealers, as well as some market type vendors with reproduction import products, vendors with craft items, some with folk festival type items and many with yard sale junk. There are food trucks, mostly of the “fair” type variety, such as deep fried stuff, and stinky smoky barbecue. We didn’t see any other food truck options, but thankfully, we had brought our own food and drinks for lunch and snacks.
There was a huge variety of antique categories, and overall, I would say prices were at the high end. Some vendors had clean, nicely displayed items with visible prices, such as the ones in the large white tents with multiple vendors inside. Many vendors did not bother to clean, price or display their things, and there was just a lot of jumbled junk dumped on a table or the ground. A large percentage of product throughout the show was not priced and we eventually gave up on asking because they still seemed to ask top dollar prices.
We did end up leaving early on the second day as we weren’t enjoying the show and would definitely not attend again. We visited some antique shops in the area and found some lovely things for much better prices.
