点评：I had the pleasure of going on the Personalised Sydney Tours Australian Sheep Farm Tour with tour guide Ben. Such a surprise to find a working farm so close to Sydney.
It was my 80ish-year-old mom, 55ish-year old me, and 24-year-old child. It was super fun and very informative.
We got to watch sheepdogs at work, watch a real sheep shearing in a historic shearing shed, feed lambs and goats, and even milk a cow. We saw and learned about several animals such as emus, kookaburras, cockatoos, and kangaroos. Oh, and of course koalas and kelpie dogs!
The whip cracking and boomerang throwing demonstrations were fun, and my child even got a chance to try the whip cracking.
It was a pleasure to spend the day with Ben. He was engaging, funny, and had so much information to share in a way that wasn't stiff or overwhelming. Communication with Ben before and after the tour was easy. He was professional and responded to our questions quickly and seemed happy to meet any requests we had. He was especially helpful with my mother who needed some accessibility accommodations.
If you’re looking for a real farm, without having to go into the bush, this unique day trip in the Sydney area is it. Highly recommend!
