Overpriced and underwhelming, on par with Antiguas poor customer service across the island

点评：My husband and I have been to many different places in Antigua and been on the island half a dozen times so we weren’t expecting much in the way of customer service. However this course managed to fall short of the lowest standards of decency and courteousness. They accepted a tee time booking over the phone for 8am. My husband showed up at 7:45 hoping to use the practice green which was closed and warm up by hitting some balls. Online it says they open at 615 AM. But as soon as he showed up he was inundated by a group of people sitting in the outside dining area to a bunch of workers saying “we don’t open until 8.” Most of the workers were there 5 minutes before 8, but the people manning the pro shop strolled in after 8. Once he got into the pro shop he had to wait for the cashier to finish the personal phone call she made as soon as she saw him walk in. Once he got his instructions he went to get his cart from the cart attendant Danny, who was rude and unprepared. He seemed upset to be troubled for a cart. He finally got out on the course after 8:30 and enjoyed hairy, unkempt fairways, tee boxes and greens. It’s golf in the Caribbean so the price is what it is, but do not expect courtesy and initiative from the staff. Bring your own balls, they don’t have any. As long as you’re not expecting much you probably won’t be dissapointed.
