点评:A long-time unique and continuously FABULOUS museum collection of urban public transportation vehicles with a large selection of those from the TTC.
Tremendously historic and informative static displays of rail memorabilia and a barn full of amazing artifacts from the last century.
Numerous actual functioning street cars offer those of us who grew up with the TTC RED ROCKETS to remember our childhoods while riding these into the woods. In the summer you can get off , grab a delicious ice cream cone and walk around the gardens while you wait for a different era-style street car for the return.
Open from May to October and then ONLY OPEN for Christmas weekends in December when the site is especially wonderful with holiday decorations. Check their website for all times.
This is an amazing museum which is maintained by a sadly aging group of talented people who have kept this museum running on their own voluntary efforts and the public's funds they bring in during their open hours. They are constantly looking for new blood!!!
If you love history and transportation this is DEFINITELY worth a visit....in the summer as well as on the holiday openings.
