Took a punt despite the negative reviews and loved it!

点评：We spend a couple of rainy day hours exploring Puzzlewood with our kids (9 and 7). It was absolutely magical! We weren’t sure what to expect but we appreciated the reviews saying it was about 2 hours tops to go around. The kids appreciated exploring all of the different areas and routes and we loved the scenery. It was breathtaking.
For a wet winter’s day we would recommend a good pair of wellies/waterproof trousers. The walk was an ankle deep quagmire in places (but we were well prepared and it was fine. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it to someone who might struggle with lots of ups and downs and slippy rocks. Dogs also aren’t allowed here and to be honest it wouldn’t be much fun for them on a lead going up and down all the stone stairs.
We really appreciated the under cover picnic area at the end in the barn so that we could enjoy our packed lunch with muddy feet at the end whilst watching the rain pour down. We definitely could have spent longer on a sunny day as the farm animals were lovely to watch and there’s a really nice little playground there too.
Well worth the entry fee in our minds with our kids at the ages they are and the imaginations that they have.
