Stuck in a time-warp but 5* views, especially at sunset

点评：It isn't to everybody's tastes but I found the 1970s feel of this place strangely alluring! It is in no way the modern tower you think it is going to be and the interior probably hasn't changed for decades...but that makes it all the more interesting. The display of other towers is a bit cheap and naff - but also endearing because of it. There are no real information boards or history to the place so not much to look at other than a strange display of old radios and a few really bad shops.
So the big draw is going to the observation deck.
And what a draw it is. I've been up several towers around the world and you don't always get a good view as the land around can be flat and uniform, however, this tower gives lovely panaramic views right over the city and river. I'd give it 4* for the overall experience but if you get your timing right and go at sunset like I did then you get spectacular skies and unbelievable photos all around.
