Sales pitch not Delivered. Fortunately had a good guide.

点评：Mixed review, park was good. The tour disappointing.
Do your research very thoroughly as the sales pitch/information from Walter was misleading.
Here are some examples of how Walter let us down/lead us on.
-The tour was in a car when we had received promotional photos with one clearly having an open side in the visual of the photo.
Walter since said he has been operating out of cars for 25 years then I'd suggest the promotional photos sent through do not Include photos from what is clearly an open vehicle, this is very misleading. The car worked but we were shown one thing and provided another. Addo is a park with a large amount of bush close to the tracks being in a higher seat would have had it's advantages as some stages.
-It turns out there are conditions for the Braai lunch a minimum of 4 persons which we were not told. This lunch was advertised as a highlight for us and it wasn't followed through. The meals in the restaurant were fine but not what we had been promised.
-Walter had said that snacks and beverage were all to be provided, Mostaff kindly bought us some water but snacks and soft drinks that he had said, again came up short and at lunch we were told we could have a beverage (singular). Not the end of the world but again different to what was pitched.
- When asking about compensation for what was promised to what was delivered, Walter said that the compensation was our paid for lunch meal at the restaurant. Breakfast and Lunch provided is in the agenda and no doubt taken into consideration when being charged for the day tour so I don't see how this is compensation.
Once we had settled into the day we had some great sightings and Mostaff was a great guide.
But check and research, not to let a good sales pitch get in the way of what is offered.
