点评：Our family of five (parents and three grown up daughters) decided to take on the Open Water Diver course, fully aware that this was outside of our comfort zones, snorkelling was as far as we would go. From the very onset of our decision to take the course, my wife sent out emails to several dive centres in Pulau Perhentian Kechil but Aikin from Quiver Dive Centre was the first to reply promptly. She was very patient with our inquiries and concerns and did not pressure us to sign up. Giving us the space to make our final decisions which was much appreciated.
Dive Instructor Halid was assigned to my family for the course. His friendly approach made the entire experience welcoming, safe, and thoroughly enjoyable. We went through one day of classroom learning, never imagining my wife and I would be classmates with our daughters, sponging from each other. It was definitely awkward initially but yet knowing how many families do this, made us proud to be doing this together.
Halid’s calm, patient, and professional approach gave us the confidence we needed at every stage of the course, looking out for our safety at every skills test. As a father and a husband, this was the pinnacle of my gratitude. He explained everything clearly and never rushed us, creating a supportive environment that made learning both fun and effective. We would also like to give a shout out to Ken, our Dive Master in training, who was equally encouraging and thoughtful, always checking in on us and offering helpful guidance and support.
Thank you Halid, Ken, Aikin and the Quiver Dive team! We have not only earned our Open Water Diver certifications but also created unforgettable family memories and developed a new passion for diving. We could not have asked for a better introduction into our new underwater world.
