Tranquil Location - Couples Package - Birthday Treat

点评：Found the Spa details from a web search whilst looking for things to do when staying in the local area. We sent an e-mail before arrival in resort to ask for information about packages. Tharun was really helpful and sent details of packages and services offered. We confirmed our requirements by e-mail and arranged a date. A Tuk Tuk was sent from Spa to Hotel (RIU) security lodge to collect us.
We were greeted by a friendly lady who took us to the waiting area. There was only me and my husband visiting during the time we were on site. It was my husband's birthday (pre notified). They had kindly put up birthday bunting, which was a lovely touch. We were offered a refreshing tea and the package we booked was explained. We were taken to private rooms for the treatments to take place. Massages were performed by a lady and a gentleman. We both had lovely all over massages followed by the herbal steam bath. The price was much cheaper than the UK.
Afterwards we were given a fresh fruit platter and tea, which was very refreshing. We relaxed for a while in the outdoor waiting area which is very tranquil.
The tuk tuk was waiting to take us back to the hotel.
We were offered a discounted return visit to the Spa but unfortunately with the excursions we had planned we ran out of days otherwise we would have happily returned as we enjoyed the experience.
Totally different to the hotel Spa and massages in the UK. We felt it was really good value for money, especially given that we had the place to ourselves.
