Wonderful tours of Izmir, Ephesus, & Kuşadasi with Fatma!

点评：On the advice of friends, we booked Fatma Acar for two one-day tours in Izmir and Kusadasi/Ephesus, and we could not have been more pleased! In Izmir, Fatma took us to the ancient Roman Agora, and explained its purpose and history. Afterwards we walked down to the colourful Kemeralti Bazaar, stopping to shop and sample local fruits and snacks. After a delicious lunch of kebabs and souvlaki we walked to Konak square, and then along the Kordon seafront promenade.
In Kusadasi the next day, Fatma took us to Ephesus and the Terrace Houses. When Fatma describes the structures and elements and culture of the ancient city, you can really imagine that you are there, seeing it as it was — what a wonderful guide!
After we left Ephesus, we visited a lovely hand-made ceramics business and an olive oil merchant (both at our request), and had a good seafood lunch at a small local restaurant. At the end of our tour Fatma escorted us back to our starting point via the local market and through an old caravanserai.
As another reviewer said, Fatma really goes above and beyond. We will use Helliantus Anatolia Tours again when we return to Turkey, and I highly recommend Fatma Acar to anyone visiting!
