Aurora camp & husky dog sledding AMAZING
特罗姆瑟野外之旅的点评
点评：We booked the aurora camp and dog sledding tour with these guys, Tromso Villmarkssenter, and was the highlight of our trip to Tromso!
The tour group was relatively small, around 20-25 people but only 7-10 people stayed overnight, including us (2 adults and out two kids 11 and 8).
The guides were all lovely, knowledgeable and very helpful.
We were lucky with the weather and managed to see the northern lights. Our Aurora guide gave us great tips to spot them: if windy (as it was), the clouds will keep on moving, and when you start seeing stars, the lights become more likely, and they were! When it was cloudy, we took refuge in the dining canin with the large open fire and took turns to check on the sky. When we started seeing stars, we went outside and the lights soon appeared, it was magical!
The tour included a fair amount of food: dinner, breakfast and lunch. All the food was freshly cooked on the premises and delicious!
We saw the doggies on arrival but also the next morning. They're Alaskan huskies and mixed breed over the years, so they may not look as the picture of huskies you have in your head. To me, a non-dog expert, they looked like regular dogs, but all were super friendly and cuddly!
The cabin where we slept was warm and comfortable.
When we went sledding the next morning, it was super fun! A great adventure!
This is not a cheap trip, and for us, it meant "wasting" one night's accommodation in town, but it was great value, especially with all the good included and the whole experience.
I'd definitely recommend doing this when visiting Tromso!
