Noise verges on cruelty to the environment.

点评：Let me be clear -- I did not go, but I might as well be spending my entire Puerto Vallarta vacation there because the noise (accompanied by regular screaming siren effects) is so absolutely awful from the top floor of Tower 3 at the Grand Venetian that I feel desperate to escape...anywhere. In fact, my husband and I have been escaping, walking kilometres around the back streets of Puerto Vallarta between 4 and 7:30 pm, just to give ourselves a break from the noise. This is the second week of our vacation, and we're both wishing we'd rented a unit that faced Francisco Medina instead of the beach; in fact, we're actually regretting, for the first time ever, that we even returned to Puerto Vallarta. Monday and Tuesday have been the only days so far that haven't been dominated by the unbelievable decibels of thumpa-thumpa coming from the Chicabal; Fridays and Saturdays have been particularly bad. After being unable to get away from it all afternoon yesterday on the beach, and continuing to be assaulted in every room of our condo unit (even with the doors shut and the air conditioning turned on), followed by a repeat of the whole thing tonight, with no sign of it letting up at 9:40 pm, I feel in a far greater state of stress than I was in at the beginning of this vacation. Please, whoever you regulating bodies are in Puerto Vallarta, have mercy and shut this appalling noise up.
