Amazing experience of snorkeling and relaxing

点评：We visited this island when we stopped from a cruise. We booked it through the man with the orange shirt at the cruise terminal, on the outside where all the tour vendors set up stalls. He was very polite and efficient. You could book with or without the sun chairs. $45 aud with sun chairs each. They had a bus that took us to the beach where we jumped on the water taxi and took us over. We took all our own gear (snorkel and flippers). And thanks to a great tip on TripAdvisor we took a small esky bag and before we left on the bus walked down the street and got a French baguette, drinks and pastries to take with us. If you are at the cruise terminal, cross the street to the supermarket (you won’t miss it) then if you are looking at the supermarket head down the street on the right hand side of the supermarket (like behind the supermarket) and there is an amazing bakery at the next corner. Try the cream puffs!! Grab your lunch then head back to get in the bus. The snorkeling is some of the best I have seen. So many fish and we seen turtles and a massive octopus which made it all worth it. The island nothing fancy, in regards to infrastructure, but is absolutely beautiful. I will definitely be back.
I would NOT go here if you are not a strong swimmer, there are no lifeguards and there was a strong current when we were swimming.
Side note: please pick up all your rubbish (we seen a dirty nappy on the beach. And please please do not tread on the coral, it takes many years to grow back. Be a responsible tourist and leave the place better than when you arrived.
