Customer service has deteriorated whist prices have shot up

点评：Oh dear how times and prices have changed. We have visited this coffee shop on several occasions but how sad that customer service has deteriorated whilst prices have shot up.
We arrived at 12.25 and were told there would be a half hour wait for hot food. Presumably hot food includes a hot sandwiches and toasties.
So we ordered tea for two a hot beef baguette, with a portion of chips.and a bacon and brie toastie. That came to a cool £27!
People who came in after us were served jacket potatoes, pie and chips whilst we waited and waited. After thirty minutes my wife inquired where our order was! Surprisingly it was "being prepared".
The staff really couldn't be less gracious, one would have thought we were demanding silver spoon service. Grudgingly it was brought to the table, minus the tea which we were told we had to get ourselves.
Well you vote with your feet, so, because of the hassle we won't be back.
