We paid as we had no choice with the luggage on the car and already on the way, outside the city.
The driver Would as a matter of policy, ALWAYS park away from the destination at a place convenient for him and expect us to walk long ways or uphill to and fro, far from the car.
The car had no provision for playing the radio or even our USB pen drives.
He did not allow us to connect our mobiles to the car audio for the first 5 days.
Everytime the driver was asked to start the ac, he would demand Rs 500 to be paid cash upfront for starting it.
On the last day, WHEN THEY RECEIVED ALMOST ALL THE PAYMENT ONE DAY BEFORE THE TRIP ENDED, the driver called that the car had trouble and WE SHOULD MAKE OUR OWN VEHICLE ARRANGEMENT for the day and we would be compensated by refund payment.
We called Monica at Himanchal Car Rental service who had forced us to make the advance payment but she stopped taking our calls thereafter.
No Refund came and no calls were answered or returned.
