My experience with Ganesham Textile & Handicraft started off positively. The initial hospitality and attentiveness were impressive—so much so that I chose to purchase custom suits in addition to the textiles my wife and I bought as gifts for our families.
Unfortunately, the positive experience ended right there. I ordered three custom suits, with detailed measurements taken in-store. They assured me repeatedly that the suits would match the quality of Canali suits, even claiming they supply fabric to Canali directly.
When the suits arrived, it was an absolute disaster. None of the clothing matched the measurements provided. Each piece varied drastically—one pair of pants was so tight they couldn't be worn, while another was absurdly oversized, impossible to wear even with a belt. The jackets weren't just poorly fitted; they featured unexpected, exaggerated shoulder pads never discussed in our specifications. Worst of all, the fabric quality was terrible. Despite being promised genuine Canali fabric, the suits arrived with labels clearly stating they were Raymond brand.
When I reached out to Tarun at Ganesham regarding these serious issues, he promised unequivocally—a "gentleman's promise," he called it—that they would cover all costs associated with alterations. Trusting his word, I took the suits to a local tailor. Embarrassingly, the tailors openly laughed at the craftsmanship, describing the suits as "Franken-suits" due to their haphazard construction.
Despite Tarun repeatedly assuring me via messages (screenshots available) that he would reimburse the alteration expenses, no payment has ever materialized. It's clear now that the initial hospitality was simply bait for their eventual switch to low-quality, dishonest business practices. This store is shifty, dishonest, unreliable, and deceitful. I strongly caution anyone from doing business here—save yourself the headache and disappointment.
