Disastrous Lazy Day Trip

点评：A very poor lazy day trip arranged by Kawsu Tours. The boat operators engaged were highly unprofessional and totally unprepared for the trip. Departure of the boat from Denton Bridge was delayed by one and a half hours due to lack of fuel and late arrival of the cook. We spent an hour waiting on the jetty before the bost to arrive and the a further 30 minutes on the boat waiting for fuel to arrive.
Several other boats managed to depart on time, so there can be no valid excuse for this. On board the crew and their own people were lethargic and did not engage with the guests correctly. Whilst waiting to depart, we were not offered drinks and had to ask and when coffee was eventually offered, there was no milk. As far as the fishing was concerned, the crew did not offer assistance to the customers and were more concerned with fishing themselves, which meant the bait ran out. Lunch was eventually served at 3.00pm and was of a reasonable standard. Although the trip was extended to take into account lost time, this meant we were very late back to the hotel, tired amd very dissatisfied. When a compaint was raised with Kawsu, we did not get a satisfactory response. This trip was a complete disaster and it is impossible to recommend Kawsu Tours.
