By all means be careful not to have to good a time there and be careful of the bar overserving alcohol.

点评：Word to the wise: be careful not in to have to good of a time at Wintergreen, you may end up regretting it for the rest of your life.
I bought three nights accommodations at Wintergreen resort to celebrate my daughter and son-in-law's engagement in December 2019. Their first night there they were served an excessive amount of Long Island Ice Teas, though the bar protocol is two to a customer. After overserving them, they were told to leave and the Wintergreen Police, who are NOT police were called even though they had left and were walking to their room on the promises. On the way back to their room, they were stopped and Andrew was arrested by a Wintergreen officer and was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer. After paying aver 30 thousand dollars in lawyer fees and many trips back and forth from Florida, the video was finally shown in court which clearly showed the charges were false. Even though the Wintergreen "Police" had this video and aggressively pursued charges against Andrew he was exonerated on the charges of battery on a law enforcement officer because 1) Wintergreen Police ARE NOT recognized law enforcement officers and Andrew never even came close to the pseudo cop. Wintergreen has never acknowledged or apologized for the nightmare they put them through, even though the bar clearly broke protocol in serving them the amount of alcohol they did.
Moral of the story: Be careful at Wintergreen, it could impact your whole life. RIP Andrew
