Follow Me disappointing first experience - second much better
Follow Me Tours的点评
点评：So we have been on two tours. The tours themselves were good. Both in respect of the content of the tours.
HOWEVER, the tour guides themselves very different .
Mondays full day tour to loule, querenca, barranco do vehlo, and Alte was ruined by the harsh-ness of the female guide Celia. She told paying guests to be quiet, informed disabled guests they couldn’t sit in the disabled seating on the bus as it had to be “pre reserved” despite no other disabled guests and no lists of any pre reserved disabled guests. (So this disabled guest sat there!) Celia really needs some customer service training - she was knowledgeable BUT her attitude and manners towards people were appalling. It is like she hated the job. Definitely not a people person.
On the total flip side we had a half day trip with two gentlemen ( I think our guide was Carlos and I hope he forgives me if this is wrong) we went to Villamoura, St Vincent’s Church in Almancil, and to the market at Quarterira. I’m going to date this so hopefully the team at Follow Me now exactly who the lovely gentlemen team were (26/3/25) lovely commentary, kindness, entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable half day. My favourite bit of the tour I think was the stunning church in Almancil ended off with a drink at the Marina. These two gentlemen went above and beyond with waiting for two guests also. Really enjoyable day - thank you gentlemen. Also a heads up to the gentleman who picked us up and dropped as back at the hotel - thank you.
