点评：The ticketing process is unorthodox but several TA reviews were helpful so we didn’t have any issues. You reserve your tickets online and pick them up at the Rock Art Centre of Cantabria. They request that you pick them up 40 minutes prior to your tour. You then drive 5 minutes to the parking lot and then walk 5 minutes to the cavern entrance.
The tour was very good. We had seven people for our 9:40 tour with the majority being Spanish. The woman tour guide did the tour primarily in Spanish but also covered the major points in English. The woman was excellent and we didn’t feel like we got short-changed because we didn’t speak Spanish. Various drawings and paintings were highlighted on the tour and it was very interesting.
We went to the 10:45 Las Monedas cave tour right after this one. The distance between the 2 caves is 650 meters. It’s not a bad walk but it was tough to get to the 2nd cave on time. We were 2 minutes late but they waited for us so it worked out well. Both tours were good but I would rate this one a little higher as it has more drawings.
