Great theatre - amazing performers. But sound engineers need to DIAL DOWN sound levels.

点评：We LOVE this theatre! All the shows are AMAZING! The quality of performers and live music they put together is incredible for such a small town theatre! (comparable to a major metro area).
BUT... we just attended a performance of 'Heathers' and while caliber of performers was still great - the sound was Way Too Loud! Often, and in EVERY ensemble number, the music level overwhelmed the vocals. Perhaps the sound engineers have heard the songs so many times they already KNOW all the lyrics? But the poor audience has to struggle to make them out over the tidal wave of sound reverberating though-out the hard surfaced interior.
When the sound people DO hear lyrics get covered by music, their reaction is to turn UP the lyrics volume rather than DOWN turning music amps! Sigh. Sound volume was often at the threshold of being painful!! It really was TOO LOUD! My spouse and I both had our ears ringing for an hour after the show was over. Please, turn the volume down.
(Wouldn't hurt to have your sound engineers hearing tested...)
