Way too expensive for what it is - can’t recommend

点评：We visited Explorium on a rainy Friday in Feb (14th).
The pros - it wasn’t busy, as it fell outside of Irish school holidays. There are some
pretty cool things to see and do.
The cons - very few staff around to assist with the many ‘not working or missing bits’ stations. Some staff were super enthusiastic and great (like the lad who performed the lightning show - sadly he was the best part about the show), but a fair few staff looked like they really couldn’t be bothered. The lad who was working the bed of nails, was also great fun. We walked out of one exhibition / show, to be at the lightning show which was displayed (on the show area's door) for a 4pm start. When we arrived there we were told it would actually be at 4:30, by which time we’d already missed our chance to see out the climate experience. A few of the areas seemed in need of a clean. The price was €30 per head, which was slightly reduced by the fact that we were a group of 7. if we'd have paid €10-12 per head it would have felt way more worth it. as it was, we felt robbed.
I took my kids there when they were little and they loved it, so perhaps for under 5/6s its still
great, but I can't possibly recommend the rest of the place.
There were really cool elements of this experience, but NOT for €25-30 per head - no reduction for kids. sane price for all.
By comparison, we went to GoQuest the following day and paid €19 per head, and had 10x the fun.
Explorium needs to be improved or get thejr prices aligned.
