露易丝湖滑雪场的点评
点评：Overall good experience, just know that the green runs at Lake Louise are advanced and include blue sections! It is a massive mountain. Low visibility due to snow so didn’t get to enjoy the views. Good facilities, shelves to leave bags and also lockers for hire, many options to purchase food and designated areas to eat food brought in. Took the SkiBig3 shuttle from Banff which was wonderful because it minimizes walking and I got to nap on the drive back! Opted to rent skis through SkiBig3 in town and picked those up the day before which made the morning easier.
My 8 year old did a full group day lesson (level 3) including lunch and fully enjoyed herself. She was scared at times, never having gone in such difficult terrain, but her instructor Phil was supportive and she ended the day wanting to return. I opted for too high of a level for myself, bailed after 30 minutes of the group lesson, but the ski school customer service was wonderful and they connected me with another instructor (Geoffrey) for the afternoon. Geoffrey helped me rebuild my confidence, taught me better techniques for turning, and we made it back to a green.
